RESUME

Modern space missions such as the magnetospheric multiscale mission or Parker solar probe share one thing in common with high performance simulations: the vast scale of the data produced. There are serious issues in just how to store and share this data but even more so on how to analyze it and make sure all information is used and all patterns in it detected. Relying on humans, for data visualization and for scientists in the loop, might not allow to extract the full potential of the data. Aida tries to address this issue by relying on open source python based tools for statistical analysis, machine learning and artificial intelligence. The project is just a few months into its 3 years plan but the first results are ready to be presented.
