Mr. Samir SID will publicly defend his PhD thesis on "Numerical investigation of multi-physics turbulent flows involving weakly diffusive quantities" in building B37 auditorium O2 on the Sart-TIlman campus and over videoconference via Teams. 

The goal of this thesis is to propose a methodology to integrate
 isolated energy systems modeling into rural electrification planning
 tools without increasing  the  computational tractability.

The James Webb Space Telescope, the new space giant, will be launched from  Kourou at the end of this year. ULiège and its researchers are involved in this ambitious scientific project.
